3 Easy DIY Ken Doll Clothes (Free Printable Patterns)
If you type up Barbie clothes on google, you'll find tons of free Barbie sewing patterns available online. But when it comes to Ken, it's a completely different story. A quick google search tell you that there's only a handful of free Ken patterns. It also lacks variety, just a basic shirt and a pair of pants. Unlike Barbie, where she has plenty of dresses, and outfits to choose from (as she should of course since she's Barbie!)
That's exactly why I decided to take matters into my own hands, and create Ken a fresh new wardrobe. Clothes that are not only stylish, but also completely free!
So here's the list of Ken clothes you can sew yourself. They're free to download and comes with a step-by-step video tutorial. Let's give Ken the wardrobe upgrade he deserves!
1. Tank Top and Shorts
If you're a complete beginner and wanted to start with something easy then this tank top and short is the right fit for you. Its a perfect summer outfit and only require basic sewing skills.
2. Basic T-shirt and Pants
Another beginner friendly pattern you might like is this basic Ken t-shirt and pants. This two are essential for any wardrobe not just for Ken, so make sure you sew a pair of this.
3. E-boy Inspired
If you want something different from the basic clothes you always see for Ken, then you can try this E-boy inspired Ken clothes. This is the modified version of the basic t-shirt I made for Ken but better. The clothes pattern is a lot more complex though so it might be a challenge to sew. But worry not because I have a video tutorial you can follow step by step on my youtube channel.
Below is another Eboy inspired outfit, this one is actually my favorite ❤️ A sweater over dress shirt combo, giving Ken a smart casual look. You can also skip the dress shirt and just make a cozy sweatshirt.
And that is all for this post, I might update this if I made more clothes pattern for Ken. I hope you find this helpful and if you have any questions or suggestions, be sure to let me know down in the comments. Don't forget to follow me on all my social media especially on youtube if you want to see more doll content.
Happy Sewing!
