Helpful Guide on How to Print Doll Patterns

Don't you just hate it when you found a really good pattern on the internet, but struggle on how to print them? Well fear not 'cause in this post I'll teach you step by step on how to print my doll patterns correctly. So you can save time and paper  and start working on more your dolls

But before that just a disclaimer that all patterns posted on this site are strictly for PERSONAL AND NON COMMERCIAL USE only and the following actions are unacceptable:

  • Copy, sell or redistribute my patterns in any form
  • Claim the patterns as your own

For more information, kindly visit out the disclaimer page, otherwise let's continue with the tutorial

STEP 1: CLICK PRINT

For this tutorial, I will try to print out the dress pattern I made for Licca-chan. By opening the link, you are directed to a google drive. You can download the pattern or print them directly like what I am doing here. To start with, click the printer icon right above the picture.

STEP 2: CHANGE THE LAYOUT

After pressing the print icon, this dialogue box will show up. Change the layout to a 'Portrait' instead of 'Landscape'

STEP 3: NO MARGIN

Now go to More Settings button, which will show more options. Pick the paper size and change it to a letter size (8.5" x 11"). It doesn't matter what paper you use to print, you must set this part to letter size. Now change the Margin from 'Default' to 'None'. Then change the Scale from 'Default' to 'Custom' and down below it, a number will show up. Make sure it is set to 100

After you finished changing the settings, hit print and your done! You have successfully printed the doll pattern.

Thanks for reading this post and I hope this tutorial makes printing the patterns a lot easier.

Happy sewing!
